Hey thank for writing me back and i tollay agree with what you was saying about what your dad said about if you donm't shoot you will ever score becuase that is nothing but the truth. The things we are doing in class now is the Great Gatsby and about how to achieve the american dream.

In my class now we are reading the Great Gatsby book. The book is somewhat ok to read because it is keeping my attent on it because i'm trying to find out how Jay Gatsby got all that money and come from a middle class family who had no money really but now he is rich i can't wait to find out what he is doing to get all that money. But the book is ok for now because if we take any longer i'm going to read head to find out what he do.

My definition on the american dream is that to get it you have to put alot of work into get the american dream. How i plan on achieve the american dream is to work hard and try to do extra work to achieve my dream and to become a rich man. That is what all american i believe want is to be rich and have money so they wouldn't have to really need for something.

The american dream to me is no myth because all people want to be sucessful in life but the truth is that by themnot working hard they are not going to get that dream no matter waht happen. This is my opinion on the american dream and it is no myth to me.

The main idea of the article is talking about how the schools are getting worst and how the kids know more about the world then there books. How they are tried to develop kids that wanted to develop good people skills and to be a global student. These are some of the main ideas of the article that I will be talking about.

My opinion on what is going on in the schools today is that kids are not going to school to learn and get a education. Teens today are not serious about school; teens go to school to meet new friends and to associate with old friends. School now days are attend for student to try harder to make it but student are not taking the chance to make a career and some is going the wrong way and some is going the right way. Teens today know more about drugs, sex, and violence they barely know how to read a paragraph this is what is happen in schools today.

My opinion on how to fix this is to have the kids parents do it, teacher can only do so much so the parent have to step up to the plate and help out the teachers do there jobs by keeping there kids under control. Parent has to get involved in what there kids are doing. Parent has to make the decision now days on how there kids are acting in school. They have to know what there kids are doing, what time they are doing it, and where they are doing it this is one way to fix the problem with the schools.

These are my opinion on some of the ways that they could change the schools education.

To answer your question on what can i do if my parent or a friend parent fail to do so. The things that i could do is to give them good advice such as be strong, don' t give up, and always remember just because one person give up on you don't mean you don't have some one else there for you. It is fun that you ask that because just on yesterday i was talking to a friend and she was telling me that she is stressed out over all types of things so my advice to her was to be strong and don't give up no matter what is going on in your life. The example that i will try to give is that school come first over everything else and i think i need that example for this pass semester because i started to put sports and girl over school and my grades drop badly and i wasn't happy about that either so now that I'm back on the right track i will get my grade back up. And my uncle always tell me that you are your worst enemy yourself you make the decision and you make the mistake and now I'm getting what he mean when he says that now. My reason for coming to schools is to get a education but have fun when I'm getting my education that is my reason for coming and to become a great man in life who can help the other man become something.

Thanks for writing me back and hope to hear from you again soon but these are some question i have for you. Did you ever have a friend or even you where your parents turn way for a little bit when you was in high school what was your advice to them?

20th Century

Hey this is Delmichael Youngblood and I'm writing you on how to bring schools our out of the 20th Century. Schools today is a lot exciting and not much learning the reason of this being because kids are trying to be in the in crowd and not trying to be themselves. The thing that the are doing is drug, girls getting pregnant, so much violence and not enough learning because of those thing that is happening. School back in the day kids learn a lot more but the same thing was pretty much happening with drugs and sex but kids back then came to school for a reason and the reason was to learn while they could, they take learning to advantage so they could make something out there life. Kids now know more things about the world then anything else. Kids don't really know about books and different languages that they could be learn ow to speak, all they know is cursing words and who had sex with who this world of the 20th Century kids are not going to get better but worst unless parents be the adults and teach there kids the right thing and how to act while in school.

This is my opinion on how the schools are and how the schools of the 20th century is right now. They are the same way but the kids then had a lot more goals in life. This is how it is and how it will be for sometime now.
